The Autobots and Decepticons use Prime Masters to wield the godlike powers of the most legendary bots in the universe: the Primes. Prime Masters carry the spark of a Prime, allowing them to share a Prime's godlike ability with other bots. How will the mighty Dinobot leader Grimlock wield this epic power? Anything is possible and everything is at stake when the Power of the Primes is unleashed!
Transformers Generations Power of the Primes Voyager Class figures are 7-inch-scale figures that come with 2 Prime Armor accessories. Insert a Prime Master figure (each sold separately) into one of the accessories, attach it to the figure, and imagine Grimlock wields the power of a Prime.

My son and I will enjoy the combined mode especially if a third party company …
A solid figure of a character I never could get enough of. My son and I will enjoy the combined mode especially if a third party company can tool some “filler” pieces to broaden the torsos bulk.
A few more accessories and it would be perfect
The figure looks pretty good in robot and combiner modes. Dinosaur mode, sadly, looks a bit silly due to his robot-mode legs forming his entire tail, which causes it to be vastly oversized. Still, it does at least mean that he can balance on his legs alone quite easily. The transformations between modes are all easy. I rather like the way Volcanicus’s torso looks.
I really dig this reimagining of the G1 Grimlock. I do wish the tail were a little more tapered on towards the end and I wish the chest didn’t separate, but I understand why they did it. Mostly. This grimlock is indeed King and definitely the best of the re-imaginings I’ve seen in recent years (in my humble opinion). I can’t wait for Sludge and Snarl to be released. A few joints are stiff, so you have to be sure to read the manual to ensure you’re moving a part that is meant to be moved (even if you’re sure based on hinge presence, etc). Awesome and faithfully updated dinobot. Love him.
Almost a G1 replica!
“Me, Grimlock, like this voyager class thingy. It looks like me, Grimlock! But me, Grimlock, still want Leader Class, because Grimlock big and strong and smash puny decepticons.”
Grimlock is back (Finally)
I can see why some people hate the proportions, but it doesn’t bother me. I do wish they’d skip the combining gimmick to make it even look better and all the Dinobots could be the same size. I understand that these are still geared towards kids so the gimmick had to be the selling point.
don’t spend forty dollars on it
Finally there’s a taildragging, historically inaccurate grimlock on the market. It’s engineered quite similarly to the original grimlock toy from the 1980’s transformers line. unfortunately, he doesn’t come with any accessories accept for the “enigma of combination” (which is a micromaster that doesn’t turn into a robot- in other words, useless) and a pair of feet that are meant to be attached to his legs when you combine him with the other four dinobots (in other words, useless) this pair of disembodied feet and this “enigma of combination” are the reason that grimlock doesn’t get a gun or a sword or something that’s ACTUALLY cool, despite the fact that voyager starscream comes with all the same things with an additional two guns that can be mounted to his arms. beyond the useless and misplaced accessories, i love this thing. I do think that the designers put too much emphasis on the robot mode. so much focus was put into making the robot mode look good that the dino mode has some strange and awkward proportions. this, in my opinion, is a stupid mistake that’s easy to avoid- grimlock is a popular character because he turns into a DINOSAUR. why would you make the DINOSAUR mode such an afterthought? but whatever, both modes are lovely despite their issues.
Great update to G1 Grimlock!
Very cool. Was skeptical from photos and video reviews about the look of the chest, but it’s actually not as big/wide/ugly looking- 2.and a quarter inches wide. Awesome buy, and don’t pay scalper prices.
