Chirp! Chirp! These are not your ordinary eggs you find at the grocery store! Crack open the shells to reveal six egg-stra special chicks. Learn shapes by sorting each shell into its own carton spot. Six different face/shell combinations included. Press down gently on their heads to hear them cheep! Best of all, no batteries are needed. Recommended for ages 6 months and up.
Such a great toy

These are really cute. When you press down on them, they make a squeak- almost like a metal squeaking sound but not loudly.
fun, and eye catching
This toy is cute, fun, and eye catching. My 6 month old boy likes to make a mess of them, naturally, and his attention is always captured by the “squeaky” sound (takes a bit for adult ears to adjust to; it’s a hard plastic squeak, not rubbery-squeak). The one thing I would say for younger users is the case could potentially pinch their tiny fingers when opening and closing it at both edges, but that’s not worth loosing a star because I’d like to think that’s common sense for parents to watch out. I let my guy play with the case but only with me holding it open or clicking it shut completely. The eggs are great, and this will definitely be a toy to keep as he ages since it’s got both color and shape matching qualities. I was a preschool teacher and am currently a nanny of the same age group and would definitely use these both at home or in the classroom as a table activity or small group activity on the rug. Great Easter gift!
Very cute, peeping, easy-open eggs with matching colors, shapes, and emotions
These eggs are so cute and our 11-month-old loves them. We gave them to her for Easter, and the little yellow case is small and compact, so it fit right in her basket. The case makes a convenient place to store them, though as a vegan I kind of wish it looked more like a nest and less like a package from a grocery store. The chicks make a little peeping sound when pressed; I really appreciate that they don’t require batteries and that they’re not very loud. I also like that they encourage color-matching, shape-matching, and facial expression-matching (each egg / chick has a different emotion); you can put any top on any egg, though, which is nice because it’s satisfying for our little one before she figures out how to match them. I had read reviews of similar products where the egg is hard for very young kids to open but that’s definitely not the case here; the tops just sit on the eggs, and are very easy to open up.
Far superior to Kangaroo

So I saw these as my niece’s house and thought they were really cute and versatile toys and so I ordered them for my toddler for Easter. I noticed there were two brands, but it seemed Tomy, despite being cheaper, had better reviews (I noticed several people noting that the Kangaroo eggs don’t squeak). So I ordered Tomy.
Daughter loved this toy from beginning and still does

Although this seems like a simple, kind of boring toy, my daughter LOVES these things. It is still the go to toy when I need to put her in the playpen and distract her for a minute. For some reason, she just loves messing up the eggs and shells and throwing them everywhere. Since the egg case is so compact, we even took these on our recent vacation. She will even just play with the egg container sometimes. I can’t explain it, but I am so glad I purchased these based on the other great reviews. Good buy.
Cute, sturdy, fun, old-fashioned toy

These eggs are cute. I gave them to my 18-month-old granddaughter in her Easter basket just for fun and she has really enjoyed learning how to match their colors and shapes (the bottoms of the eggs have a shape that corresponds to only one of the cups in the little egg carton), and she likes squeaking the eggs too. Her bigger brothers and sisters (she has six!) love helping her make the matches too and are helping her learn to say the colors. Aside from the fact that they end up scattered all over the floor at some point (time for another egg hunt!) these sturdy little guys are way more fun than I expected!
