I have an 8 month old and hard wood floors. So, we decided to buy some foam tiles. You seem to get more for less buying a big set of tiles with the alphabet inside. But, we didn’t want extra pieces our daughter could pick at and get out. We wanted as simple as possible. These are very cute. They don’t smell bad to me or my husband. We bought three sets to cover the floor in front of the couch in place of a rug. Baby girl seems to love them. (Plus they’re easy to clean when she makes a mess) ((p.s.- in the photo we left out 3 tiles and please excuse the slight baby butt to the side lol )) Would buy again!

This worked great for blocking my knitted project and much less expensive than the ones made for knitting.

Really great purchase. I bought this for my 5 month old to be able to crawl around on. He is just learning how to crawl so he does not need much space yet. I love the price point for the mat. I am going to purchase another one or two when the kid is finally able to crawl. The mat is wonderful to clean. I just take a baby wipe to wash it up after the kid slobbers on it. Once a day I take the pieced into the bathroom and wash them down as well.

thought it would be bigger

Like the product so far. But if u are buying it…place the order for 2 packages. One (9 pieces) is really not big enough for a play area

I bought it to use as a blocking mat for knitted and crocheted pieces. It serves the purpose.

Excellent for wet blocking knit items!

I use this mat for blocking knit items. I love that I can put it together in different ways to maximize the space for different shaped items. My only complaint is that the pieces can’t be offset (so I can’t put three pieces together then two pieces below that in a triangular shape) but since the entire piece can be picked up and set against the wall (to keep it out of the way) I can just make it bigger than I need. Plus, this mat is much less expensive than actual blocking mats, so added bonus!

I purchased these for blocking knitting. They are exactly the same as the tiles sold as “blocking knits” or “blocking tiles”, but in multi-color. You get 9 tiles, each measuring 12″ x 12″ x 0.4″, and I got 2 red, 2 yellow, 2 green, 2 blue, 2 orange, and 1 pink tiles.

and they are great! Color is more pastel than the picture

I use these to block my crochet works, and they are great! Color is more pastel than the picture. A little bigger than it looks in the picture too.

Perfect play mat.

This may is great for my baby to play on. I ordered two and combined them. One would not be big enough. I like to colors as well. They are not just primary colors. I will probably order another!
