Follow the care instructions and it’s a great toy!

 on March 16, 2018
By Emery
As other reviewers have written, the reason why people complain about the toy being dangerous is because they didn’t follow the instructions on the back of the package. It very clearly says do not freeze, heat, put it in the microwave, freezer or sterilize. It is designed to be put in the refrigerator and you wash it with warm, soapy water then rinse carefully. If you follow the instructions, it’s a perfectly safe toy for your child.

It’s a perfect good, safe toy and teether for babies.

Bad reviews are from misuse by purchaser(s)

This is a good, safe teether when it is placed in the refrigerator and washed with soap and water per the manufacturer. The bad reviews and photos of melted key rings with slime oozing out of them are posted by people who say—right in their reviews—that they have misused the product by either (a) freezing it or (b) heating it through boiling or a bottle sanitizer. The package instructions clearly state that neither of those are acceptable. And for goodness sake don’t use chlorox or any other household cleaner on it as some reviewers suggest.

A little awkward

 on January 31, 2018
By Laura Villa
These are great but I wish they could be individually taken off of the ring. My baby is only three months and loves to gum on these but they are a bit heavy and awkward. I think she would have an easier time if I could take one off and give it to her instead of the whole set. She gets frustrated after a few minutes, hopefully she will like them more when she’s a little bigger.

Nice teethers for my 5 month old

 on April 19, 2017

Nice teethers for my 5 month old! He’s been wanting to put anything and everything in his mouth lately so I bought this key teether for him to chew on, and he seems to like them so far. Whenever I see him sucking/chewing on his fingers I give him this instead – don’t want him becoming a thumb sucker! The only annoying thing is that I have to keep washing it every time he throws it on the ground or just falls out of his hands. Overall I recommend this teether, but not for babies any younger than 4 months probably, because its harder for younger babies to be able to grab it.

Using for teething babies

 on September 20, 2017
By Gail J.
I bought 2 of these for the 2 babies in my home daycare who are busy teething now. When they have finished chewing on them, I wash them off and put them in a ziplock bag in the fridge to keep them cool. The instructions say not to put them in a freezer.

Brilliant if you chuck the ring and seperate the teethers

Its a great buy because we cut the key ring open and use the three keys separately so we didn’t have to buy additional teethers.

Nuby Keys Teether.

 on October 1, 2017
By Jane Johnson, reviewer
A wonderful teether. Baby can chew on the keys, bang them around they are very sturdy and can take a “beating”. lol. Each key has bumps on it to stimulate the gums when teething. The toy is made in such a way that your babies can grip them easily. DO NOT FREEZE! The plastic will crack and break. These are made for refrigerator use only. The coolness of the teether help those painful gums. It is colorful, durable, and babies seem to enjoy this very much!

Great for teething babies

I ordered a pair of these while I was still pregnant and put them away in the baby’s room closet. It wasn’t until he was nearly four months old and miserable with teething that I remembered I had them. Wish I’d brought them out sooner. My son loves sucking and gnawing on the ring and keys. If I leave them sitting next to him, he will go to great lengths to roll over and grab them, so it helps develop his motor skills as well. This is one of his favorite toys!

Neat Baby Toy

 on July 12, 2016
By Elva
This was a neat baby toy that my daughter liked. I got it when she was 3 months old and it was a bit difficult for her to get a grip on the keys since they’re kinda big for tiny baby hands, but she liked looking at it and chewing on it when I held it. When she was older (about 5 months) is when she really started playing with it. Sadly, this toy met its demise shortly thereafter on a day when mommy got steam bag happy and decided to steam it along with the pacifiers. It then melted and leaked whatever they keys are filled with all over the steam bag. Lesson learned.
