I can’t believe how well it worked with my glasses

My polycarbonate glasses had small scratches and they told me that they could not be polished. Of course I was offered to buy new lenses for only $150. So eventhough I did not find reviews of this product involving glasses i decided to give it a chance since I did not have much to lose. Worst case scenario, I would have to buy the the lenses.

The answer to any collector who wants to restore old toy collectables

I’m going to review this product from an application many have not used in these reviews, but I imagine many have come here hoping they had – restoration of toy plastic. I purchased this product with the intent to restore an old Kenner Batmobile (Batmissile) vehicle. It had a number of quite visible scratches and blemishes on the vehicle including one spot where I had tried to wet sand it leaving a ugly haze of scratches effectively ruining the sheen. So this product had allot cut out for it in terms of making this vehicle look good again.

Works after a lot of rubbing!

This is quite an amazing product… OK, so it’s not as magical as advertised – a LOT of rubbing is required, and when one thinks of “heavy” scratches, we think of deep carved grooves, not an accidental shallow sandpaper scratch! I thought I wouldn’t even need #3 for minor scratches on the doll’s “glass” eye – wrong! #3 is the way to go! Since #2 is ONLY good at removing ultra-fine scratches created by #3. While #1 is just a cleaning liquid. So glad it comes as a set of 3 to try it out, otherwise I wouldn’t have even thought of getting magical #3. Not sure about dust-repelling properties, though. Doll’s eyes are fixed, I’m happy!

great product!

I had originally attempted to write a 1 star review about this product because of how it was delivered. Briefly, one of the bottles had leaked a little and it looked a lot worse than it was. After deciding to open the product and not return it, I learned that the leak was just superficial.

Does a decent job.

Love this product! Works great to restore scuffed scratched plastic.

I bought acrylic makeup brush organizers that have hinged lids to display my brushes nicely while keeping them at easy access. Well a similar one that I bought was so nice it looked like it was crystal… But then the other ones came scuffed and scratched. I was about to return them when I read in another review that they used a plastic cleaner to clean them up. This brand had the best rating and I now know why. I think I just deleted my before and after pictures but it made a huge difference! The scuffs are now non-existent and the couple surface scratches are not noticeable unless really searching for them up close! I cut the cloth in pieces that they give you to make it last longer… But you can buy more since there is so much product in the bottle you will need more to use up the amount of product you get. It great just to clean plastic or restore scuffed/scratched plastic. Deep scratches will not disappear but cleaning them up will make it look a bit better.

Lifetime Product

This is one of those products I will always have in my arsenal. Wow, this is the s***, it truly takes out scratches and makes plastic look better than new, and I mean that because new plastic usually has a bit of a matte finish (which is nice too) but after you use Novus, it makes it super glossy, it makes your stuff look wet!

Very impressive restoration results.

Very pleased to discover a number of my acrylic dust covers for my collectibles can be restored, as well as my vintage acrylic candlesticks. In the past I thought a scratch meant trash-time but not anymore. Follow the directions and test a small area because sometimes you need only the #1 or #2 bottle. Having all three means you’re set for anything. Very impressive restoration results.

Does what it needs to.

I think people have a misconception about how this product works, it’s no miracle product. It does what it needs to, which is polish. If you have deep embedded scratches your most likely not going to get them out, you’ll get the smaller scuffs out. You can see from the photos the difference in scratches, after using the polish kit there are some scratches but they’re hardly noticeable and leave a nice shiny coat. This is a plastic polish kit meant for plastic.

but it’s nice to have it in case

I cleaned the interior of my car, but an all purpose cleaner left water marks I couldn’t get off on the soft hazy touchscreen. Using #2 in this kit took them off after gently working it in. Then finishing up with #1 it looked brand new. Hopefully I’ll never have to use #3, but it’s nice to have it in case. This was on a 2017 Subaru WRX.
