Sitting in a high chair is much more fun with this fantastic bead maze. Featuring brightly colored, multi-shaped beads that spin and slide along red and yellow wire pathways that are anchored by a strong suction cup base. Encourages color recognition, eye-hand coordination and fine motor development through play!
This is a great little toy. It was my son’s first introduction to bead maze, and it sits perfectly on his high chair. The suction is really good on this as well. It’s small and so not overly exciting, but it does keep him busy in the highchair for a few minutes, which is exactly why I bought this. It has survived being flung to the tile floor and being banged against the side of the chair (sometimes I don’t stick it on very well when in a hurry). It cleans easily with a quick wipe-down and the colors are still vibrant.
but it’s great when playing with Baby supervised
Grandson is now 9 mos old and still loves to play with this after he eats. What an awesome toy for such a low price. I went with our daughter to 9 mo check up at pediatrician yesterday and they had a similar toy (larger) in the waiting room. We love love love it. Grandson is strong and did manage to pull the toy up (rubber placeholds still work great) and hit himself in the face – but he didn’t cry. I have seen some reviews say the toy doesn’t stay in place but it has for us.
Great toy for restaraunt entertainment.
My 11mo old LOVES this toy. We take it with us to restaraunts for him to play with while we wait for our food. The suction cups have not worked very well for us but we have a grapple that we use to hold it in place. This keeps him entertained for a solid 30min. I am so glad I found this mini bead and wire toy!!
Recommend for young toddlers
As always, Melissa & Doug made another good toy. Sturdy, excellent quality. Only reason why it is rated 4 out of 5 stars is because I wish the suction cups would be a little stronger. But then again, I have a very strong 16 month old. He can easily take this off any surface, no matter how hard we have tried to get it to stick. I’m sure our next child will have fun with it though!
Great Beaded Maze!
Love this beaded maze! It’s so small that it fits perfectly on the highchair tray to distract a poor eater. The suction cups are awesome so we keep it on the coffee table. The pieces are all made of wood except for the yellow plastic squares, which are lighter and make a clinking sounds when they touch. My daughter now speaks and run up to it and shows us that she recognizes “Yell-loo” on the maze! This toy is a great for ages 8 months and up. It’s great for children learning to use their hands and fingers to move items around and continues to be a good tool to teach toddlers (around 18-24 months) their colors and shapes. Also makes a great gift!
Perfect to keep older babies amused in their high chairs
A great toy to keep babies occupied whilst in their high chair. My 6-month old son will happily sit and play with this for a good 20 minutes which gives me time to do things around the kitchen. The suction pads work really well, it’s easy to clean, and even though it’s been dropped a few times, it hasn’t broken so it’s obviously durable and well-made. It’s one of those toys that I always feel so grateful to have, just to buy me some time to get the dinner going or eat my breakfast!
