Add a classic ship to your LEGO Star Wars toy collection with yoda's Jedi Star fighter. The diminutive Jedi master craft of choice features folding wings, front-and-top-opening mini figure cockpit, space for R2-D2 behind, and two laser cannons and spring-loaded shooters. Includes a mini figure and re-do.
Great Lego set
My husband and I separated the instructions and put pieces in little baggies to fill our advent calendar for our teenage son. He didn’t know what he was building for many days. It was great! And it was less than half the price of buying a Lego advent calendar like we have done in the past. He’s very happy with the finished product. 😉
Fun for little and big kids
Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter was the second part of my 4-year-old nephew’s birthday present along with Luke’s Landspeeder and these two lego sets have created a lot of fun for my nephew as well as my brother-in-law.
It’s got Yoda!
I got this for my 6 year old daughter’s birthday. While she can do puzzles for higher age ranges some parts of this set were frustrating for her, so I had to help out, which of course is part of the fun, but they are probably pretty spot on for their assembly age range.
Cool to have a set with both Yoda and R2D2. It was easy enough for the kids to do and keep quiet at Christmas and the starfighter didn’t fall apart as they were playing with it. The set is small which is something I’ve noticed Lego in general is doing with all their toys, a high price for a small build.
Oh man, this is so cool!
My 10 Year Old Loved It
My son really enjoyed putting it together, it was a challenge and the parts that are mobile like the slightly folding wings are a plus. He also appreciated that it came with a Yoda and R2-D2 figure.
Even since I first saw Yoda’s ship on the Clone Wars, I was hoping that Lego would create a build. This is a great little ship. The design is similar to the other Jedi Starfighters, but not identical, due to scaling issues. I would have liked to see a little more protection in the back for R2-D2 and storage for Yoda’s lightsaber, but otherwise, it’s a great set.
What’s not to like?
Yoda is the face of Star Wars in my opinion. He’s the constant in the chain, and frankly the coolest character. He’s the only one not messing stuff up. So I’m very happy that there’s a set dedicated to his awesomeness and that it’s one of the more affordable sets out there.
Yoda and R2D2 in one set? Deal.
Yoda and R2D2 team up in an Imperial-looking spaceship, what? Apparently this was from the animated series, but I bought this set because you get the R2D2 AND Yoda minifigs in one set for a cheap price. The ship itself is nicely done and this is a great lego set, but you know you’re buying this for the minifigs.
