Explore the ocean depths with this cool set, featuring a ship with a dark-blue, red, white and gray color scheme, large captain's bridge, navigation lights, radar, antennas, funnel and a yellow robotic submarine. Operate the ship's boom to lower the sub into the sea, then submerge and explore! When you feel like a change, this 3-in-1 model rebuilds into a cargo plane or a large submarine.
Great, versatile set. Lots of play for the price
I love the Lego Creator 3 in 1 sets. We bought several for my nephew. It’s nice that the same set of blocks can be used in 3 different ways to get a lot of play for not too much money. Legos are so expensive that it’s nice to buy versatile sets. These are great for my 5 year old nephew to put together with a little guidance from his dad. All of the creator sets are roughly on the same scale, so they can play together nicely.
I really like the boat build. You can learn a lot by studying its construction. The standalone submersible build is just OK. The plane is an abomination so I subtracted one star.
Does not float
This set does not float at all, in fact it is still a great piece but just don’t have any expectations that it will be a great bath toy. We did not buy it expecting it to float, I am just saying for those that think it will….it will not.
Great for younger kids too
Great little lego set. Amazon price beat Walmart which is rare for toys. Makes a great gift- does have some small parts and yes, I know it says ages 7-12 but seriously 4 year olds don’t care. They see a lego boat and want this thing so go through it first and take the tiny pieces out and save your feet!!!

This is a nice model that uses several clever building techniques for this level of model. Best for a builder with some experience. The second and third models are much less inspiring or fun. Note that since the hull is build out of individual brick and pieces, the boat does not float. Model is relatively inexpensive given the number of pieces compared to the average price of Lego models.
WAIT- I’m not done, it’s a 3 in 1!
If your child is into Legos- buy a 3 in 1! Providing your child with the quiet time to create something over and over again is good but to be able to see that the same pieces are actually able to create a WHOLE new object, is powerful. The mind starts to expand! Grab a Dollar Tree plastic container with a locking lid, cut the 3 images from the Lego box and tape to the inside to keep track of the set for the next round of fun & learning.
Lego stuff is expensive but worth the money due to its high quality fit and finish. The chinese stuff just doesn’t compare. Kid plays with this all the time but doesn’t play with chinese tinker toys as the parts get stuck and break when trying to unstick. Some parts too lose. Not the case with Legos. There is a reason this stuff lasts and lasts.
One of my favorite 3 in 1 sets!
I purchased this for my son to put together on a long airplane ride (along with another small Lego set). This set was a hit! He really liked the boat and the crane type arm that comes off of it. I would highly recommend this to anyone going on a long trip. Once one item is built, the kids can take it apart and build one of the other designs that are included in the instructions.
Very nice little build
Really nice build with interesting techniques used to achieve the hull shape, and a very convincing looking mini sub despite the small number of parts used. A very satisfying little model. Not that much playability, but as an AFOL, that’s not a major problem for me.
Great semi-advanced lego set at an excellent price
Excellent lego set for the price. Some of the lego sets are really expensive for a few pieces because they come as part of a “set.” Not this one. This is a great set and I think would make a great gift for a boy or girl under 10 at a really good price. We got this for my daughter and she loves it.
