These guys are awesome and very inexpensive. My sister got orbeez for her son and sent me a box because she loved them. I took them to work and we were all like adult kids playing with them all day.
Virgin Water Beader! My Experience…

I had no idea what these water beads were, but my sister, who runs an in-home daycare, said I had to get them for my kids (2 and 7). I was so confused about what I was supposed to do with these things! How are kids supposed to play with them? What kind of cleanup was involved? Where was I supposed to store them?
Just like Orbeez but with MANY more colors!
My son loves Orbeez and we recently moved cross-country. We weren’t able to pack up the house until after the move so he had to leave his Orbeez behind. I’m so glad I thought ahead and ordered these Jelly Beadz prior to the move. I brought them with me and waited for a special day to surprise him. You would not believe the amount of Jelly Beadz that you can make with this size! So far we’ve made 5 large mixing bowls full of them and have more than half left. I bought a big plastic bin with a lid to store them in. Unlike when we made the first Orbeez and separated everything out by color, we made the Jelly Beadz all at once. The colors turned out just fine. There are quite a few extra colors in the Jelly Beadz compared to the regular Orbeez. We had fun sorting through the Jelly Beadz with a muffin pan and creating a rainbow. I honestly haven’t noticed any difference at all in size or quality between Jelly Beadz and Orbeez. We have used both and he loves both the same. I think having more color options is a lot of fun. It’s nice to know you can make them all together and the colors won’t bleed or fade. If your kids love Orbeez as much as ours, you’ll want to grab a pack of these Jelly Beadz to store for an emergency. You can’t beat the value with such a large amount and they don’t take up much space at all until you grow them. Love these!
These are fantastic. My 3 year old(mild autism), 8 and 10 year olds love these beads. We use a sand table and bury small toys in them. They use their imaginations to create different scenarios. The clean up is easy. If they get smashed on clothes or in carpet they sweep right up. It looks like the same stuff that is in a diaper. The beads are mostly ball shape but every once in awhile you will get a egg shape and that’s fun for the kids to see and try to find different shapes or sizes. We usually toss them after a couple days, due to smell and mold, it’s understandable that mold would produce since they are wet and all kinds of germs from toys and from little hands. The only complaint I have is the clear beads don’t like to expand 95% of the time. I have taken a hand full of the clear beads out and let them soak in water for a couple days and they never expand. So each batch I do I have 100’s of these semi hard little balls. I didn’t knock the score down for it because the bag comes with so many it really isn’t that big of deal for price. I am attaching pics with a little over a 1/4 cup measured out.
Fun playing with "fish eggs"
My husband bought these for my toddler, after they played with these “fish eggs” at school, and she loves them! We are on our second batch of around 300 beads or so, and I imagine it will take a very long time to go through this bag. I would caution against is using them in the bath, as some of the colors are very light and hard to see in the water if they spill. Also, if you’re tempted to throw them at people (not me of course) , beware that they break into little sticky pieces and are a pain to clean up. Also, I think they tend to break down over time, so are more apt to break apart after handling. I think next time we would go for bigger beads and lower quantity.
I bought these for my ds for Christmas who’s 9 as just a little stocking stuffer. Thought he’d love them …he didn’t have much interest but me and my husband think they’re so neat. I plan to use these for a planter idea and he’s just liked playing with them. We’re big children. You get soooooo many truly a small spoonful makes heaps and yea some are misshapen and different sizes but they all were hard to bust and I personally like the different sizes. This bag will last us a very long time. Best thing to do is even though it comes in a zip loc bag just go ahead and put that bag in another zip loc bags. They’re small and if spilled it would be a true nuisance to pick up.
Good toy and great frozen in baggies for use on injuries
This is my first bag of these little things. The grandchildren love playing with them and they make for lots of fun in the kiddie pool. I like that they just disintegrate when they bounce onto the lawn so we don’t need to chase them all down. I’ll have to think up some inside games for the cooler weather. Even if we do lose a few inside, they’ll just shrivel up to nothing and get vacuumed up.
Maybe a bad batch?

Update- These beads grow to a decent size and are beautifully colored compared to other brands I have ordered. I just wish they held up as well as the brands that don’t grow as large or have vibrant colors. If they could do something to manufacture these to not break so easily I would definitely order this brand again.
The product itself is great for the price

I purchased these for my 5 year old daughter’s birthday party favors. They were a BIG hit! The children could tell the difference between these and the “name brand”, but my pocket book could! I purchased the little 3×5 zipper bags (100/$5 on Amazon), bins (from the Dollar Tree) and various candies for 12 kids. In which I spent less for all this than one of the “name brand” products.
