Ideal Hot Potato Musical Potato-Passing Game is a wild, frantic, laugh out loud, electronic tater-tossing good time! Designed for 2-6 players, this musical game can be played by the whole family. Just squeeze the Hot Potato to start the music and let the fun begin. Pass the spud to the player next to you or even across the room. Toss the tater back and forth, up high, down low, around and around, but don't get caught holding the spud when the music stops! If you do, you have to take a potato chip card. Get 3 chip cards and you're out. The last player remaining without 3 chip cards is the winner! Includes an electronic plush potato stuffed with foam, 13 potato chip cards, 3 AG13/LR44 batteries and instructions.

Such a cute and fun game! I purchased this almost a year ago and it has still held up. It is made out of soft squishy material so it will not hurt hurt it accidentally hit by it or your little ones happen to miss the catch. It’s like a Potatoe pillow! It has a velcro seal on the back for easy battery change which is awesome! The volume of the Potatoe is pretty loud so that all players can hear

REALLY GOOD

FOUR YEAR OLD LOVES THIS GAME. HE ASKED FOR IT. WORKS GREAT. WISH IT WAS A BIT QUITER OR HAD A VOLUME SETTING AND ALSO WISH ITR HAD A BIT MORE PADDING SPREAD EQUALLY ABOUT. THE BATTERY BOX INSIDE IS LARGE ENOUGH AND HARD PLASTIC OBVIOUSLY AND IT CAN/DOES SHIFT TO A SIDE WHILE BEING PLAYED WITH AND IF THE KIDDOS GET TO EXCITED AND TOSS HIM TOWARD A HEAD OR OTHER SENSITIVE BODY PARTS IT HURTYS ON IMPACT.

Great Family Game For All Ages

This is a really cute game that all ages can enjoy. I purchased this for an activity for the family to do on Thanksgiving. My grand kids are toddlers and my youngest son is 12, so it is challenging finding things to do that the whole group will enjoy. Because it is plush, it is easy to grip and throw. Each player starts out with three cards and gets three strikes before they are out of the game. The cards are easily stored near the battery and on/off switched that is accessed through a strong velcro opening. When playing, the music starts out slow and then gradually speeds up. We had a lot of laughs and I was really surprised that my teenagers liked the game just as much as the little ones.

Hit with kids and adults

Huge Hit with kids and adults! You never know what’s going to be a hit and what’s going to be a miss when it comes to gift giving. I like to celebrate the Christmas season with my family, including two grandsons, ages 1 1/2 and 5 1/2, by giving small gifts throughout the season. Some of them get played with for a few minutes or a few days and then interest is lost. But, this thing has staying power. My younger grandson enjoys just flinging it around and when the adults get involved, it gets a lot of laughs just trying to throw the crazy thing from one to the other. It’s very soft and not likely to hurt anyone and the music gets faster as it gets closer to stopping. The first night I went to bed with the crazy melody playing over and over and over in my head. hehe But, that was ok. Now we ask the little one, Where’s your hot potato and he’s off and running in search of it. Hasn’t gotten old yet. And it’s well made too. It’s holding up well. For $8, we’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of it. It’s very silly. Just right to lighten the festivities!

What What What a terrific gift for the toddlers. I n=bought this to help with family time at picnic and holdouts to keep the smaller kids entrained. Well it did just that entained them. The best part parents don’t even need to get out of the chair they are in you an just toss it back and forth to each other and BAM let the fun start.

Fun for all ages – helps to tape over the sound box to "lower the volume":)

My grandkids 2,4,8 and 12 all have fun with this. They also like sliding it to each other on the wood floors. The sound is annoyingly loud BUT – if you open the back, snip 1 corner stitch which holds the sound box in place, you are able to cover the sound area with tape (I used duct tape – but probably any type would work). I taped BOTH sides, and stuck the box back in. SO much better! Kids didn’t care it wasn’t as loud, and it was a relief to me! Also note – if you removed the box by snipping all attaching stitches, I believe you could remove the sound box and then hand-wash the “potato”. I’ve had other toys with this type of sound box and I have been able to wash them without any issue.

Great for young toddlers!

I wanted to start purchasing games that my 2 year old can play, and this seemed like something he could grasp quickly. It’s exactly as described, a potato shaped stuffed toy that plays music. My son almost has the hang of it, so I personally feel like the 4 year old age lower limit is a bit high. 2.5-3 seems appropriate as a starter age for this toy.
