Great Fun for the Price

These are great for the price. They are very challenging and are best used for older kids or very patient ones. I found the gear-shaped puzzle ridiculously hard to put back together because the pieces fall off easily. The other puzzles, though not easy, were reasonable. I suggest keeping spare puzzles handy as a model for kids struggling with the puzzle. (The instructions that come with the puzzle come in a piece of paper just a little bigger than a fortune cookie paper, so they’re not much help.)

My sister and I both have ADHD mine is a little worse than hers because even medicated I often have a hard time. She has anxiety as well and tends to have panic attacks often. I know we’re a pair… Anyway I ordered us both tangle toys a few months back, she fell in love with hers, I was a lot less stimulated and not so in love… When she broke her original tangle toy I gave her mine and began looking for something a bit more mentally stimulating while not requiring my total attention. I stumbled upon these, which are advertised more so as a goody bag addition but I love them!! They were a great price and for three sets I couldn’t pass them up!! I have a friend in the Navy and slid a set into his care package as well as kept a set for myself and gave one to my sister.

Great for spatial visualization

I use puzzles like this in my math class and these are sturdy, yet inexpensive enough to have in the classroom and sometimes even give them away as prizes, my middle school kids love them.

Good range of dificulty

You get 3 each of 4 different puzzles. As you would expect, these are made from really light plastic, but they all work as intended and I didn’t see any way they could break. These are individually packaged and each one comes with a little cheat sheet how to solve. I haven’t actually read the solving instructions so don’t know how good the instructions are, I just tried to solve them on my own. I found they range in difficulty where the easiest I was able to solve in 30 seconds and the hardest took me two hours and required me to enlist another set of hands to hold the pieces in place. I’m still not sure if it is possible for one person to put the hardest puzzle together without some additional help or some holding device, so I would be hesitant to give it to a kid unless they had special puzzle solving skills.
