The colors are as vibrant as they look in the package. Smooth writing straight out of the box
Love that they are low-scent!
My kids use a lot of dry erase markers, as they love to color on our white boards, they practice homework (such as spelling words, letter formation, etc) on wipeable sheets, and we have a lot of the dry-erase books. We had the original EXPO markers, but I hated the smell, and was worried about the toxins that they were likely breathing in. I discarded them all at the toxic waste, and ordered these. They are pretty low scent (you can still smell the marker, but it’s not anything like the other ones, and doesn’t make me feel lightheaded after an hour of use.) I love the variety of colors, as some of the sheets they have are coloring pages, and you need a lot of colors to do the picture. You do have to be careful about how hard you press when using them (my 3-year-old has ruined a few because he pushes down a little too hard), but overall we’ve been very happy with our purchase!
Great set of fine tip markers with classic and extra colors!
This set of markers is very useful for the price, especially for a smaller white board where you are trying to keep your writing more precise. The fine tips are very good at small details if you’re into drawing on white boards, and the variety of colors is a nice perk as well. My one complaint would be that a lot of the colors have a sort of faded feel to them, and the light brown/ orange especially are pretty similar.
Great markers for teachers and students
These marks are great for my classroom. At first, it took a bit of a learning curve to perfect writing with smaller markers, but now I feel as though I would never go back to the chunky ones. I bought these markers in January 2017 and I have been supplementing their use with the larger Expo Chisel marker. Amazingly, I find the two of them have a similar life span in the classroom. I teach for 6- 7 periods each day and so I’m always writing on the board. I even find it easy for my students to write with these markers (11-13 year olds), and they don’t have the problem of angling the tip correctly, since it is a bullet point. I just wish there were more markers in the pack. Perhaps more dark colours since in our sunshine-flooded classrooms, it could be difficult to see the lighter colors, but they do have visibility.
Perfect Marker for Dry Erase Boards
I do a lot of pre-teaching. After a while paper and pen can be boring so I use a dry erase board. I wanted to work with markers that are similar to a pen so the kids would not get confused. I do some work with special needs kids and I thought these would be the perfect option.
Expo proved once again why they are my go-to marker for dry erase. This set has just the right sized tips for a multitude of uses. It works well on our calendar, for writing quick notes, and for making up menus in a laminated notebook. The colors are mostly all vibrant, but the yellow and orange were a bit more muted in the package I received. (These colors have been brighter in the past, so this could just be an issue with this package.) Most of the colors wiped away cleanly, but I did find that the green, blue, and turquoise were a bit stubborn to remove if left on more than a few hours.
