Exploding Kittens is a card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats. In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game — unless that player has a defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens. This NSFW version of the game contains the full version of Exploding Kittens, but the artwork on each card has been replaced with content too horrible/amazing to be used in the original Exploding Kittens game. The NSFW Edition can be played with 2 to 5 players or combined with another deck to play with up to 9 players.

Fun Filled Phycological Game Amongst Friends

Object of the game is to not draw the exploding kitten card. Seems simple enough, but there are variety of counter cards that will block or divert an exploding kitten that will knock you out of the game.

This game will ruin lives.

If you’ve never had a bad coke habit, you will experience the closest thing to it in game form. Friends will want to bum it from you, you’ll have to hoard your cards just to make sure there is enough for yourself, and your parents will be terribly disappointed in your life choices. But you’ll have your kittens.

Most hilarious laughs we’ve ever had.

This game is absolutely hilarious. If you want non-stop funbuy this game. We played it for hours and laughed the entire time there was some fun bantering as well. You see the game requires you to, make temporary alliances, screw everyone, or be sneaky, or a little of the above! The cards are hilarious. The picture are completely inappropriatly awesome.

Funny game for adult get-togethers

This is one of my husband’s favorite card games. We ordered the adult version which is extra hilarious. (Obviously NSFW or family-friendly.) This is a card based game which can be played with 2 to 4 players easily. It’s mostly luck of the draw, like War but with inappropriate humor, and a little bit of strategy to it. For example, there cards that will allow you to look ahead to the next three cards. You decide what cards to play each turn. The game goes quickly and doesn’t require a lot of effort, could easily be played even if you weren’t sober 😉

This is a fun, mindless card game for adults

This is a fun, mindless card game for adults. Best described as: Old Maid meets Uno for adults. If you’re highly offended, and don’t find offensive/gross things funny it’s probably not for you. I’ve played both the regular and NSFW editions, and I don’t see much of a difference. It’s an especially fun bar game, which is where I first played. Kind of like darts or pool only for people that are to lazy to get up. The NSFW really makes me laugh, because what card game is suitable for work? Or rather what company would even say “sure Judy, sit at your deck and play Rummy. We think that’s a great use of the time we pay you for.” If you find that company please give me a heads up 😉

Chaos, disorder, and laughter.

Fun entertaining game where the point isn’t to win, it’s to not lose. Best played with people you are close enough to that you don’t mind screwing them over in good fun (or with drunk people). We play this game at dinner parties at my house, and the drunker we get the more fun it is. Not a game for kids (probably not a good idea for young teens either, think of the lessons your teaching them).

Fun Game

I did not realize that this was an explicit version of the game. I have two teenagers and we have played this as a family. Although explicit, it wasn’t “too” bad. If I had noticed, I probably would have ordered the original. For the most part, we weren’t reading the details of the cards, we were concentrating on looking for matches. I wasn’t offended by any of the cards personally. I would compare it to potty humor or what you might expect from a teenage boy. The game itself is fun to play. The instructions are easy enough to follow and understand.

Fun game for adults and kids…just not the NSFW edition for kids under 13yo.

What a fun game! I say it is a bit like Uno, my husband says it’s a bit like Munchkin. Either way, we’re having a great time. We don’t have cable and we prefer to spend our Saturday nights playing games, so Exploding Kittens has been a fun addition. We also have just as much fun reading the cards as we do playing the game. Who comes up with this stuff?!?

Sounds strange, but it is a LOT of fun!

Whether you have the “normal” (??) version or this not-safe-for-work edition, you will love this game. If you’re a fan the “card game for horrible people” genre, you’ll laugh your butt of playing this one. It’s a bit interesting learning how to play, but once you do, you start plotting your revenge on your fellow players. I can’t wait to purchase another game by the same vendor (when it becomes available again). STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU FOLLOW THE PARENTAL GUIDELINES–this is not for kids under 15–maybe even 18. Please note that is just for this edition, the non-NSFW edition is safe for kids. Will keep recommending to anyone who will listen.
