Very nice set for children’s craft time

My daughter and I both love this set. It comes with 24 colors which is far more than your average set. They are seated in 3 separate trays of 8 colors so you can take out one tray at a time or use them all at one time.

Beautiful quality for a great price.

Can’t go wrong with Crayola. I’m an artist and want to get my kids as involved with art as I can… but I’m not going to splurge on expensive paints until they show a true interest. Crayola is the perfect way to introduce them without breaking the bank. The quality is awesome and they have a lot of fun with them. We used these paints with our hands. I would paint a bunch of colors on my toddler’s hands and then let him mark up pictures. They blend well and the colors are beautiful. Can’t beat it for the price.

Am I crazy or are these seriously the best watercolors I’ve used?

These paints are fantastic. They seem better quality than others I’ve used, even older Crayola brand watercolors that I have. Maybe it’s my imagination, but these just seem so rich and yet also give you so much control over the dilution of it, it must be the richness that allows you broaden the range of shades. They also just have a really nice sheen to them, again, weird I know, because how can a watercolor paint have a sheen? I don’t know, but I just bought these for my 2 year old for Christmas and I have been using them myself because they are so wonderful.

Nice array of colors but…!

The colors are numerous, rich, vibrant, and washable. So what’s not to like? Just this – this set has 3 rows of paints plus 24 individual little pans of paint. Each of these elements is not only detachable from the thin outer case but very loose. Even the tiniest “jiggle” sends them flying. I’m sure you can guess what my 3 year old great granddaughter did immediately upon opening them. Since then, we play hunt the paint pan every time they are used. I suppose I could glue all of the individual elements into the case but it would seem to me that Crayola would have enough experience with children to know that this would happen. The brush is also the cheapest possible one they could have included so I have substituted brushes by Melissa and Doug. So while I love all the different colors, I do not think I would purchase this set again.

Perfect with Crayola paintbrushes

This is perfect for any child who’s starting to use water colors. They come in 3 strips of 8 colors which you can put away separately so you can minimize the mess of water splashing over to other colors and saving the other colours from being tainted by an overzealous child trying out all colors without rinsing the brush first (yes, been there!).

Good buy, Good paint

Crayola products are usually good, this set is another example of this. A good variety of vibrant colors that blend twell! I buy them every time the set is part of the Amazon Add-on program. Three plastic strips of 8 colors come in a reclosable clam shell case. Use the case to blend colors, a quick dry with a paper towel and the case is ready to store paints again. As an added bonus let the paper towels dry to end up with a colorful abstract painting. Set up a pool of watered paint and sprinkle some salt in. Let completely dry then brush off, a great paint effect is left.

Kid tested, mom approved 🙂

Great quality and vibrant colors! My kids love painting with these. I appreciate that the package is three separate strips of paints, so that three kids can paint at once and each have their individual paints. Also, the brush is a pretty decent quality, much better than the dollar store variety 🙂

Great set!

Got this as a Christmas gift for our kiddo. Once you open the outside case, you’ll find that the three rows of colors are in three separate trays. Personally, I love this because I can take out just one tray at a time to make this set last even longer. It also cuts down on the amount of mess during cleanup.

Great Paints for your young artist!

On our 4th or 5th pack – these last a long time but are so fun and beautiful to use that your child that your child will want to paint all the time! Very washable and comes out of anything that we get them on. Stock up on lots of paper because you’ll need it! Happy painting!
