I had Barbie’s Dream House when I was a little girl in the 80s-90s. I loved it and still remember it vividly. I was so excited to get my daughter her first doll house. It was fun having her help me assemble it. It took about 30 minutes to make sure everything was there and to put it together. Very simple. The instructions are mostly pictures, so anyone can do it.

This dream house is just that…A DREAM HOUSE! My daughter is going crazy over it! It has the cutest little accessories. The furniture is really nice! Her grandma bought it for her birthday and it was the perfect gift! She loves that the garage door and elevator can actually go up and down. This doll house is keeping her busy for hours! It’s pricey but definitely worth it! Highly recommended!

This gigantic Barbie house is as tall as your kids (four feet tall)! Standing, they can see the third floor, sitting they can see the second floor, and lying on their bellies, they can play in the kitchen and garage. It was thoughtfully designed.

Flimsy plastic, poor instructions, many small parts but overall satisfied

I bought this for Christmas and began assembling it early to ensure we’re not missing any pieces, so far no pieces are missing but the instructions are terrible, I highly reccomend watching a video, such as this one […] on youtube ,to assist in assembling the doll house. I believe this is more so intended for older girls who are interested in barbies because of all the small pieces, my three year old who is usually good about keeping up with small pieces to doll houses has lost many of the tiny pieces, Barbie silverware, toothbrushes, etc.but it I understand it wouldn’t be sensible to make them much larger. The only real complaint that I have is that it the furniture, balcony, front door and pillars are very flimsy plastic and I don’t see this house lasting long even with kids who are very careful and gentle with toys. But my child loves this play house and has played with it for hours since receiving it as a Christmas gift, yesterday.

Perfect gift!

It didn’t take much time to put this bad boy together

Got this for my little sister for Christmas. She LOVES it. It didn’t take much time to put this bad boy together. Maybe 20 minutes? It would most likely take anyone else about 10 minutes since the 2 grown men putting it together refused to look at the instructions. There are tons of pieces so your Barbies can have cake, strawberries, smoothies and a whole chicken. YUM! There are about 5 Barbies in every room of my sisters dreamhouse and they had a great time.

We got this for our daughter for Christmas and so far, it’s been a hit with her. I planned to have it assembled under/next to the Christmas tree for Christmas morning, but when I opened the box for the first time at 11:45pm on Christmas Eve, I realized that was never going to happen – it comes in a bunch of pieces (to be fair, I didn’t read any info beforehand to find out that was the case, if it was mentioned anywhere). We ended up wrapping it in the big box for her to open on Christmas morning. Assembly took me about an hour and the pieces seem to be made of good quality plastic – similar to the Barbie dreamhouse I had back in the 80s. My one and only complaint is that while it does all of those cool things – like the grilling food/fan/fish tank/sink, it can only do one of those things at a time. Again, to be fair this was probably included in the information provided about the house, so I shouldn’t really be upset about it. My daughter doesn’t seem to mind. She gets a real kick out of having the toilet attached to the side mechanism and the grill on the top – this amuses her to no end!

All in all, we love it!

Oh how my 7-year-old daughter loves this dreamhouse! I dreaded putting it together, but it wasn’t bad as bad as I had worked it up to be. My only complaint (the reason for the missing star) is that it arrived with one of the main beams completely snapped in half. The larger pieces were tossed in the box as if someone opening it, started building it, snapped that piece accidentally, then returned. All the smaller pieces were packaged as they should have been and no parts were missing. Even with the snapped beam, we continued to build it (it was Christmas Eve. We had no choice.) and it turned out to be fine. It isn’t structurally unsound by any means.

Our daughter loves it. Trouble with elevator and garage door.

Bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Took my husband and sister-in-law about 2 and 1/2 hours to put it together. The directions stink, but once you start putting it together you can tell where most of the pieces go without using the instructions. The garage door is a pain in the neck. Our daughter cannot make it work without help. It comes off track very easily. We still can’t get the elevator to go all the way up. Haven’t had time to trouble shoot that yet. The dreamhouse is huge and super cute. Love the tv that uses a phone for the screen. You have to push super hard to make the toilet flush. My daughter loves all of the accessories. This house comes with EVERYTHING! Lots and lots of little pieces (blender, pot, pan, food, silverware, soap bottles, lotion bottles, mail, purse, shoes, plates, drinks, blanket, pillow, towel, and more). All in all we are happy with this purchase, other than the complications with the garage and elevator. Be aware…this thing is huge…like 4 ft. tall and as wide as a refrigerator. yep!
