Fun with a capital *F*
We had so much fun with this Bananagrams at Christmas. It’s an easy game to learn & play so that people of all ages can join in. You can play a single round quickly, so that if one person has to peel off (ugh! did not intend to make that pun!) to chase a kid or glaze a ham, the other people can keep playing. We also enjoy playing Exploding Kittens, but it’s much harder to teach to newbies and can’t withstand the distractions that my family has with little ones running around & 2 grandmothers with Alzheimer’s to attend to. Highly recommended for kids of all ages (even 49 year olds).
Fun for the kids!
I wasn’t sure about this game initially, as I was concerned it may be too challenging for my 10yr old and he would become frustrated. I was so wrong! He actually enjoyed playing it. I think what makes this game great is that there are no grid patterns to adhere to (like in Scrabble) or points to worry about, but the best part is that we are in control of our own grid and words. Meaning, you can change up your words and use letters differently, it’s part of the rules of the game. You’re not locked into whatever words you initially create, so if you get stuck with a letter, you can remove a word, or change it into a different one, and create another word with those tiles. Definitely recommend. Plus it comes in a handy and fun travel sized sack, win/win
Fun for all ages.
Fun game for any number of players. Fast paced, but not overwhelming. Has motivated our 3rd grader to improve her vocabulary and spelling skills. Some games, the kids ask you to play, and you think, “Uh, I guess so.” This one is actually fun for all ages.
a fun game for the whole family
a fun game for the whole family, well, anybody who knows how to spell, so i guess like 2nd grade and up, probably. it is a reasonably short game, maybe 20 minutes to play, less when you have more players. easy to take along to play wheverever you go. cute banana bag to hold it all.
This is a great way to teach children to read. They love making up all the words. It’s a fun game, harder than you think, but you get the hang of it quickly. Great vocabulary builder.
Very fun game to play with just 2 or a group …
Very fun game to play with just 2 or a group of people. Games are very quick so you can play to fill just a little time or a bunch of rounds. We really enjoy the variants of the game
Great game for all ages (that can read and write)
this is a great game. So portable and can be played many ways by players at different levels. Just bring your glasses if you want to keep up with the young folk. Highly recommend
This game looks so boring on the outside, but it’s actually really fun and addicting! If you enjoyed Words with Friends, you’ll love this one! Also seems like it would be great for traveling — love the convenient banana bag. Super cute.
Great game for 2 or more people – quick
We play this at our table all the time. We play usually with 2 people but when a guest is over we play with more people. We love this game. It’s like a really fast game of scrabble with virtually no rules!
Great game, lots of fun! Others have complained the tiles are plastic and “not the original” to which I would say “who cares”?
