Its adorable, is it functional as an actual flashlight to help guide you at night? No. But my kids 1 so not a big deal get a flashlight at the dollar store and move on. Is it an awesome and fun toy? Heck yes my kids 1 and 3 love it and we can see the different color lights very well and it was not intend to project images so for reviews saying it doesnt project images well…its not made to.

Sturdy, good battery life, and functional to boot!

This is something my three year old son REALLY wanted (hes fascinated with flashlights) and he loves it. Its not super bright, which is good when your kid isnt either and you find them turning it on directly over their eyes (sigh).

which are included – so that’s great. The handle is very easy to hold in …

A very cute little toy flashlight. It makes sounds, lights up and sings and talks. The flashlight is very well made and very durable. Durable enough to withstand throwing it to the ground, chewing on it, massive amounts of drool…daily…. and it holds up very well. It takes two AAA batteries, which are included – so that’s great. The handle is very easy to hold in a baby’s hand and there is a little lady bug button on the top of the handle that says “I’m a ladybug”. There is an off/volume switch on the side and there are two volume’s – so it does not have to be on full blast. There are three buttons on the side of the flashlight with the numbers 1, 2, 3 and they say one, two and three and play songs and make noises and are very easy to press for the baby. The part around the flashlight turns and you can turn it to a blue elephant, red bird, ladybug, lion, and a green alligator. When you do that the lights light up and flash. There are also sounds that tell your baby to “turn to find the blue elephant, etc.”. My baby has a lot of fun playing with this flashlight. The lights are not too bright and will not hurt your baby’s eyes. I’ve had this for a while now and I haven’t had to change the batteries yet. The lights flash different colors and not just all white. The flashlight automatically turns off after about 45 seconds of non-use. I would recommend this toy for a baby – at least 6 months old.

Received product today. Works great and keeps the baby entertained. I give it 4 stars because i personally feel the bulb is too bright for the age group. My daughter is obviously curious and stares directly into the lenses which the reviews said were pastel and not bright. This is partially false. While at distance it is not bright up close it is. Even for an adult. Other than that, great product

Cute, But Wish It Was More of a Real Flashlight.

This is such a fun toy for our almost 2 year old daughter. I would say, though, my big annoyance with it is that you cannot press the ladybug button and make the flashlight function as a real flashlight. Since we have a 7 year old son, our almost 2 year old daughter wants to do everything like her Bubba so I thought this would be the perfect solution for her and asked my in laws to get it for her for Christmas. She does like it, but it may not hold her interest for as long because it cannot function as a real flashlight. I know this one is highly rated, but in retrospect the Melissa and Doug may have been a better choice for us.

Great little light

Great little light! Very durable and the batteries last forever. Plays cute songs. The lights are bright enough to be useful. If your kids don’t like the dark, this would be great for them! . I’d recommend this to anyone! Hope this helped you!

Great for toddlers.

Bought this for Christmas for my daughter. She wasn’t very interested in it at first, but now that she has discovered closets, she’s absolutely in love with it. It’s made of a very tough plastic and can easily handle her tantrums when she throws it on the floor. It’s it now (almost) March and we have yet to replace the batteries.

Good for a little boy with a fascination for all things Lights…

My little nephew has been fascinated with “ights! ights!” since he was an infant. Now he is 21 mos. and loves to trun on and off as many “ights” on his own that he can. So I was excited to find a flashlight made just for his chubby hands and developing mind.
