Amazing value for an entire construction fleet!

I purchased this at Target for $5.99. I hadn’t realized that all 5 pieces have movable parts to simulate their actual function at a building site. All having working wheels, and additionally, the dump truck has a bed that raises/lowers, the loader’s shovel moves up and down, the excavator’s arm and bucket have full movement, the bulldozer’s blade moves up and down, and the roller…well, it rolls.
Great value for our indoor "sand" box

Inspired by another reviewer, I purchased this set of tiny construction vehicles for my two-year-old son to play with in an indoor “sandbox” during a snowy February. Instead of sand, I used a few bags of pearl barley. It made perfect “gravel” for the little vehicles to load. This entertained my son for many afternoons when it was too cold to be outside for long. Sharing a picture so that other parents can get a good idea of the size of these vehicles.
They were perfect cake toppers for son’s construction themed birthday cake

They were perfect cake toppers for son’s construction themed birthday cake. They were just the right weight, not too heavy for cake but not to flimsy for a 4 year old to play with. After the party was over and the cake was devoured, he was able to keep them as toys. Still plays with them.

I bought these as decorations for my son’s 2nd birthday party. His party was a construction theme. He loved these so much!! He was to busy playing with them after he pulled them off his cake to eat any cake that day. I don’t see an option to add a picture on this review otherwise I would post a picture of his cake with the trucks on them.
Best $9 I’ve spent in my entire life

This is by far the best $9 I have spent, in my life. My 2-yr old son was been very excited about trucks, so we got him this set 2 months ago. He and the trucks are pretty much inseparable. They are well designed and fairly detailed, considering their size. They have movable parts through joints and are actually fairly usable in combination with each other – e.g., he really likes digging in (loose) dirt with the front end loader, backhoe, or excavator and filling up the dump truck, etc. For their size and cost (these are small plastic toys sold for under $10!), I have been very impressed with their design and functionality.
Great, but cheap toys

I just purchased these as “training aids” for work as we just got a new CAT 924K that we all have to learn to operate. The other equipment that comes with the set are just added bonuses for us. They are sized similar to Match-Box or Hot wheels vehicles. For the price paid ($6.29, delivered, with NC sales tax) this set is great bargain and allot more affordable than ~$202K for the real CAT 924K “small wheel” loader alone. That said, they are low priced plastic toys, that should stand up to play, but the extending parts (loader bucket, back hoe arm, Dozer blade) look like they could be broken off with some abuse. The wheeled units roll well, the roller less well and the dozer doesn’t roll much at all as the rollers underneath are poorly formed. The recommended min age for safety is 3 years, I would go to maybe 5 min to avoid a stuck finger like one reviewer mentioned. Going less than 3 years, in my opinion (as a nonparent) could be flirting with disaster. If you want the fancy plastic bubble pack make sure you select “standard packaging” as it seems to default to the “frustration free” plain brown box as the selected package.
Very nice set of 5 cat mini machines

I purchased to packages of these for my daycare kids to play with. I didn’t think it would be wise to put them in the toy box but we do a lot of sensory table activities and other activities that these are easily incorporated into.
Great bring-to-church toy
Our toddler likes them. Great bring-to-church toy. He’s almost two, so he doesn’t play with a toy for hours on end, but they keep him entertained longer than a matchbox car, and shorter than a transformer.
