Before I brought the “Ravensburger Puzzle Sort and Go Jigsaw Puzzle Accessory”, I had been using food storage containers to keep my puzzle pieces organized. They worked pretty well, but then I saw this product and thought I’d treat myself.

Despite my every attempt to gently persuade my six-year-cat to mind his own business, he is convinced that our stuff is his stuff.

Absolutely wonderful!! I love how you can sort, stack and store it in the original box it comes in. I will order another one for larger than 1000 piece puzzles and also when I gift someone a puzzle.

Good product but there is room for improvement hopefully Ravensburger will listen.

I’m gonna start of by saying over all i am pleased with the trays but there are some improvements that could be made that would make this infinitely superior. The trays aren’t super deep but in a way that’s good because if they are too deep then its like digging in the whole box anyway. I think just making them square would be better im just not really sure the benefit of the puzzle piece shape. What would make this an over the top better product is if the trays really snapped together, it needs a top lid and handle. To make it more mobile friendly. Overall the trays work fine and you can store them in the box they come in for mobility but there is no guarantees if the box turns over that it won’t mix some pieces together.

I read the reviews before I purchased the Puzzle Sort and Go and purchased it even though some people said the trays were not deep enough. I am currently working on a 1000 piece puzzle. The majority of the pieces are in the bottom of the puzzle box; then as I start looking for particular pieces, like faces, or certain colors, I put them in a tray. I am not filling the trays up with pieces, I’m trying to use what I’ve found before I look for more out of the larger box. This method has worked for me. The size of the trays are small enough that I have room on the table for all of them plus my puzzle. When I need my table space, I can just stack them up and easily move them. I highly recommend.

the option to sort your pieces into like colors, shapes

To start, let me just say that I wish I had the Sort & Go as a child! I’ve been a fan of puzzles for as long as I can remember, and even being a puzzle person, one of my biggest points of frustration has always been having to go back in dig through the hill of puzzle pieces that have yet to be assembled. There are few things more irritating than spending 15 minutes looking for a piece that you know was right in front of you just moments ago. With this puzzle tool, the option to sort your pieces into like colors, shapes, or sizes saves a good deal of time, without taking away from the experience. Though it’s advertised for puzzles up to 1000 pieces, I might purchase two for puzzles with, especially color-laden color schemes. Either way, it’s not a bad purchase for the price, not to mention the fact that it is easy to store and can be stored with your pieces still sorted.

If you like puzzles and have a cat, these are a must!

Before I bought the Sort & Go, I had read the reviews and knew it wouldn’t be as big as I’d like. However, since it was the best I could find in my price range, I decided to give it a shot. I actually really like and appreciate it. There are 6 trays and while I think one more would be helpful, they work great. I’ve used these twice, once for a 1000 piece puzzle and once with a 750 piece puzzle. The 1000 piece I had already started, but it was helpful to contain different colors in each tray so I could work out of one tray and not worry about the space for the rest of the pieces. By the time I got down to the last 100 pieces or so, I could sort the pieces by shape into each tray.

This puzzle sorter is very useful when doing a puzzle as it helps you sort pieces in a convenient and organized way but it would be more useful if the containers were deeper. If you are doing a puzzle with 2000+ pieces you may make these containers overflow and not be able to make as many sorting piles as you would like. You may want to get 2 of these if you are doing puzzles with 2000+ pieces. I wish there were a lid to put on top of the stack as it would be helpful if you have a cat or young children who may get into your puzzle pieces when you are not near them. It is nice to have an organizational tool to use when doing puzzles as opposed to just having stacks of pieces on different parts of the table you are working on. Using this sorter makes it less likely that you will lose pieces by accidentally knocking them on the floor. I have found that I use the corners of the sorter to separate out different types of pieces; each corner has 1 type of piece (this method has been extremely helpful to me when trying to find a specific piece). I have also found that I tend to interlock the containers when they are side by side which helps keep them from sliding around as much. Even though you could just use any containers when sorting puzzle pieces, the fact that these containers interlock, stack perfectly, and are all in one place makes them convenient. Although pricey for what it is, I would recommend this puzzle sorter to people who do puzzles often and to people looking for a gift for the puzzle lovers in their lives.
