Had no idea what it was until my 9 yr old said she wanted only Mip for her 10th birthday… When did my HW the reviews were great and I thought it was very cool. When I gave it to her she went crazy! Bottom line great toy and even better service!

This is quite the toy. I initially bristled at the price, and it is a decent chunk of change to lay down for any toy, but I think in the end it was worth it. My 11 year old son, who is a lunatic when it comes to robotic toys, LOVES this thing. We have had MANY of the previous renditions of robots, Robosapien, Tribot, SpiderSapien, even took back a couple other un-noteworthy attempts. This is the real deal. Not sure what the person that said it didn’t do anything was trying to do with it, but they obviously didn’t read the instructions. When you turn the wheel it has many different modes, and the light on the front changes to show what mode it is in. AWESOME option of controlling it with the ipod/iphone/ipad. Just be careful, the older ipods will not be able to run the app. Giving my other 2 sons this for Christmas. It should be a blast seeing all three interact with each other.

Cute Fun Robot

Our 7 year old son saved his money and bought this for himself. He loves it. There is an app that you can install, we have ours on an ipad, that acts as a remote control. The robot can also be programmed by the user.

Cute, and kinda fun – but not out of this world

My husband and I were really excited at first, but it took our seven year old a bit of time to warm up to this little guy. It’s pretty fun once you get the hang of it, but there’s quite the learning curve – first just to figure out what it is you can do with it (my son can read instructions, but none really come with it, and we aren’t really in the habit of letting him go look through youTube which is where ultimately we had to go get our intel). Once we got some initial info, then he was able to get into it a bit more and figure out more by himself. This isn’t the first toy I have this problem with – I get that we are in a techy age, but I feel like toys should still come with useful intro info. Even the Wowee website is completely useless in terms of actual info, every time I did my search all I got was the page selling the product – ‘here are all the features’…. that you will have to look all over the internet in order to figure out how to activate and use…. 🙂 So for that reason, I give it four stars. And also because in the end, I didn’t think it was amazingly terrific, to be honest (now I’m thinking about the programming app). I feel like there could be more flexibility with the app. So anyway, cute and entertaining – but not something I would absolutely recommend to all my friends.

Highly educational, cute, and fun!

We got 3 of these for our 5, 8, and 9 year old grandchildren. The older children are learning rudimentary programming with adult assistance, and the youngest can play using simple built-in commands. Parents and grandparents find it fascinating to operate too. This little robot is surprisingly complex and capable, and is very cute as it does its jobs. Cute sounds too. Makes it seem like a little person. We’re all on a learning curve as we explore and experiment with its capabilities and quirks.

Bought this for my 6 yr old grandson and he LOVES it! Not sure his parents appreciate replacing the batteries but heck! that’s why I’m the grandmother.

My grandson just loves this and uses it to retrieve trash from his dad and return to the kitchen. No one in the family knew my grandson wanted this. He knew immediately what it was. Nana had hit a home run.
