Massive scope, fun to play and with lots of things to keep you busy if you want them to.

But overall, this is a worthy buy.

Let me just start off by saying this is definitely not the best story the fallout series has offered. I really felt disconnected with the main storyline and even the characters. Most of the characters were great, but a lot of them were simply loosely connected to the overarching storyline. Most characters outside of the story were much more interesting too haha!

Its fun unitl it gets really buggy.

Its definitely got plenty to do and things to keep you entertained for hours but, this is a big but. Expect alot of bugs in this game. For me what largely killed it from a good score is the buggyness that made it almost unplayable at times. Even without the bugs It doesn’t deserve the sellout scores that IGN and PC gamer gave it. I would not pay a full retail price for this game because it falls short and after playing some of the other Elder Scroll Series, this company doesn’t seem to care about improving the game or fixing bugs.

Fallout 4 is visually striking game that launches you straight into the irradiated wasteland that is post nuclear fallout of America. I’ve always been a huge fan of the fallout series, from the old 2D RPG to the amazing fallout 3 and New Vegas. There was always something special about this game series, the story was there but you yourself can decide how the game will be played. The same goes for Fallout 4. There is a huge amount of independence in this game, you can explore the every nook and cranny or goes straight to each destination in a linear fashion, it’s your decision to make. However there are some instances that are a little annoying, such as the wait feature in the previous games. Need to travel a long distance but are afraid of the dark? Well you have the option to “wait” until sunrise, just click a button and boom, it’s a beautiful sunny day in the wasteland! Not anymore. You have to be lucky enough to run into a bench or a stool or an upside down spackle bucket to wait, they completely yanked that feature which is a little upsetting but not a huge deal for most players who don’t like to nit pick. Another feature which is less than stellar is the loot ability. Instead of the simple press of a button to open and close the loot screen, it now happens automatically. Sounds great, right? Well if your set in your ways you’ll end up hitting that close screen button which instead will bring up your pip boy and trust me, it’ll happen every time. Now to the major reason why this game is gonna be game of the year is simple, just one word. Dogmeat. This dog will keep you company in the lonely wasteland and also defend you from the terrifying mutants and farrel ghouls, he’ll even find you supplies and loot you might have missed in your frantic searching. Dogmeat is truly a hero of our times. All in all Fallout 4 is a bit different, which is good but it’ll take a while to adjust, it is the closest you’ll be to experiencing the terror an joy of a post apocalyptic wasteland. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys dogs and killing mutants.

I spent days in the wonderful worlds of Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Played all the FO3 DLC and half the NV DLC. They are (like many) easily 2 of my favorite games ever. You have so many thing to do in these worlds. I’ll just give a quick run down of my thoughts on the game.

Funny story…

Game’s really good, I just got Nula-World a couple days ago and it really adds value to your game, get the season pass, it’s honestly worth it. And from reviews of Nula-World, it is the least favorite out of all of the other DLCs (according to the community) I got mine from the seller and I got a Redbox resell, had the sticker and everything still on it.
