Great looking doll for any Barbie fan or collector

This is a great looking Barbie who is being portrayed as a Game Developer in the Careers line. Barbie is dressed in a knit sleeveless tank top, three-quarter length arm khaki jacket, jeans, and white tennis shoes. In essence, she is dressed liked many of us do during the day. The jeans are not made of denim but rather a thin cotton material that looks almost tie-dyed versus worn-in.

I am a game developer, and this dolls packaging is so on point. Her desk has a C++ book, C# book, game pad, monster high figure, he-man figure, and barbie figure. She’s totally staying on my desk, her in package.

Great doll, not quite as advertised.

Great doll, though the pictures are slightly misleading – instead of the bright red hair, this doll has dark hair with reddish-pink streaks. Which looks fantastic, it’s just not the red customers may be expecting. I have to agree with other reviewers that the ‘jeans’ look cheap, but the tank top is nice and the jacket looks okay.

I haven’t bought a Barbie for myself in years. It’s not like I think I’m “too grown-up for toys”–in fact, I have Monster High, Ever After High, and My Little Pony figures on practically every surface. But I mean, Barbie is another story. Unlike Mattel’s other big seller Monster High, which celebrates uniqueness and even “freaky flaws,” Barbie has always seemed to me to be a bit… shallow, for lack of a better word. And on top of the femininity stereotypes, the general product quality struck me as far below MH and EAH–the bland overall designs, the head/body moulds that never changed, the same flimsy fabric used to portray everything from denim to silk.

Nice Concept

Not gonna lie, I bought this Barbie for myself, an adult, because I thought she would be cool to put on my desk as decoration since I love video games.

As a female game developer, I knew I had to get this doll as soon as it came out. Her outfit and styling are pretty much spot on, and I love the way my career is being represented. Bravo, Mattel!

A Barbie that is a positive role model for little girls.

Normally, I do not care for ‘Barbie-dolls’. I didn’t even get one for my daughter when she was growing up. But this one, I just had to have, for myself. I am keeping her sealed in her box, on my desk.

Cute toy, but beware the scalper!

She’s so cool! I just wanted to have a Barbie that reflects this day in technology. My future kids can laugh at it later lol. I love her hair color, her glasses, and her military inspired jacket. Very now!
